The Sunburst Share Your Shutters Winner for Fall 2017

Eric Ramsey

Congratulations to the latest Share Your Shutters winner: Chelsey Rushworth! Her winning submission to #ShareYourShutters shows two rooms decorated with gorgeous new Polywood faux wood plantation shutters that beautifully accentuate both her home’s style and her own unique fashion sense.

Chelsey, who goes by Taste of Coffey on Instagram, is a Boston-based interior designer who definitely has a unique eye for matching colors in her decorating. A quick look at her space shows how she intersperses whites, off-whites, and muted shades for a look that’s warm and calming, but at the same time incredibly stylish.

She even offered a few pieces of advice for DIYers in Gainesville and beyond:

  • Have a color scheme. When you decorate a room, you can always play with color to accessorize it. Make sure to utilize colors either from your interior color pallet or ones that can complement it.

  • Be adaptable in how you use colors. I picked white shutters and most of my furniture is gray, both weathered wood and fabric. So I decided to mix in splashes of white and color accents.

Not only does Chelsey pick some fantastic color combos, but the use of space in her house is on point, too. From the placement of her chairs that guide the eyes right up to the wall and her plantation shutters, to the way her shelving lines up perfectly under the window, Chelsey’s house is modern, practical, and very cozy without ever seeming overwhelming.

As our #ShareYourShutters winner this season, we’ll send Chelsey a gift card to a great restaurant in Boston, in addition to featuring her designs here. To see her entire body of work, visit her personal site at
